Words from the School Principal

Dear Parents,

It is with great joy and pride that I have taken over the leadership of La Petite Ecole Bangkok as of the 2024 school year.

After several years as a teacher and then as a school director in Normandy, France, I moved on to work in international schools abroad, which allowed me to discover and integrate new pedagogical approaches. I first landed in Toronto, Canada, where I spent two years working at a prestigious international school offering the IB program, and then in Phuket, Thailand, where I joined a school undergoing significant transformation, with dual French and Cambridge programs.

These enriching experiences have enabled me to develop an open and inclusive vision of education, focused on the holistic development of children, their well-being, and the expression of their individuality. Beyond the academic knowledge that schools must impart, every child carries within them an infinite potential that is uniquely their own, which we, as educators, must help them to reveal.

At nursery school, we know how crucial the early years are in laying the foundations of intellectual curiosity, self-confidence, and respect for others. I am passionate about transforming our classrooms into dynamic spaces where children can explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace while having fun. As a director, supported by a dynamic and caring team, my main goal is to create a secure environment where each child can feel valued, stimulated, encouraged, and free to express themselves.

With its multi-sensory garden and child-friendly spaces, La Petite Ecole offers an ideal setting for young children to develop their skills; it serves as a refuge, a sanctuary where they can nurture the best within themselves.
